IntheCA40,asingleREMOTEportadmitstheconnectionofaWPmVOLSRunit,which
hasa volumecontrol knob and a 5positionrotaryswitch, or selector.The selectorcan
beusedinanyofthesetwomodes:
o INPUTS: to select the active audio source(s) (LINE1, LINE2, MICRO,
LINE1_AND_MICROorLINE2_AND_MICRO)
o PRESETS:torecallanyofthe5presetsinthememoryoftheunit, whichstorethe
fullconfigurationoftheunit,includingvolumes,EQ,etc.
ThefactorydefaultworkingmodeoftheselectorisINPUTS,anditcanjustbemodified
toPRESETSbymeansofanRS232connection.
IntheCA200ztherearetwoindependentREMOTEports,eachoneabletocontroloneof
thedevice’soutputswhentheCA200zhasbeenconfiguredintheZONESA/Bmode.Each
selectorcanbeusedinanyofthese3modes:
o INPUTS:toselecttheactiveaudioLINEsource(OFF,LINE1,LINE2,LINE3orLINE4)
o PRESETS:torecallanyofthe5presetsinthememoryoftheunit, whichstorethe
fullconfigurationoftheunit,includingvolumes,EQ,etc.Justoneoutofthesetwo
remoteportscanbeconfiguredtorecallpresets,notbothatthesametime
o OFF:REMOTEportdisabled.
<Zone>aretextstrings(withoutblankspaces)thatidentifyazonewherethecommandwill
operate.IntheCA200ztherearejusttwopossiblevaluesforthisparameter:
o ZA
(outputlabeledasZAorL)
o ZB(outputlabeledasZBorR)
Whenthe<Zone>parameterisnotspecified,theCA200zwillunderstandthecommandwill
operateoverZA.
<Micro Name> are text strings (without blank spaces) that identify the MIC inputs in the
unit.Inthe
CA200ztherearejusttwopossiblevaluesforthisparameter:
o MICRO1
o MICRO2
<OutputMode> aretextstrings (without blank spaces) that identify the amplifier’s output
workingmode.IntheCA200ztherearejustfourpossiblevaluesforthisparameter:
