Getting Started 1. GETTING STARTED FIRST TIME INSTALLATION Installation of this receiver is not difficult but each installation has its advantages and disadvantages. Normally a generic dual tuner PVR receiver lets you watch and record two different programs at the same time. In principle it is the same as with an ordinary TV-VCR installation. The TV uses its own tuner to let you watch a program while the VCR uses its own tuner for recording a program.

Description and Operation 1. LISTS DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION The OK key gives access to the channel lists and the different list and zap functions. NOTE Sometimes a list seems to be empty because you are recording from another transponder as available from your (favorite) list. 1.1. GENERAL For the general navigation, you can use in all lists the same navigation keys.
Description and Operation 1.3. THE PVR LIST The key gives access to the PVR list, where the OK key lets you select a recording for viewing. For easier navigation, so called direct access keys are made available. Once in the PVR list, these keys are: PVR key - to view the list. ■ The (Red) key lets you lock a recording for unauthorized viewing. ■ The (Green) key lets you delete a recording from the list. ■ The (Yellow) key lets you rename a recording.
Description and Operation 2. EPG MENU - PROGRAM INFORMATION The key gives access to the EPG menu, where you control the timers and view the information in the Electronic Program Guide. NOTE Most digital channels broadcast program data as an EPG. Digital channels that broadcast EPG offer you program information in advance for a certain period of time. The EPG information is not always available.
