The Information Bar
The Information Bar is displayed across the bottom
of the screen for a few seconds whenever you
change channel. It shows details about the current
channel and programme.
You can also view it at any time by pressing the i
key.
Use the ▲ and ▼ keys to view different channels.
Use the ◄ and ► to browse across the
programmes scheduled for transmission on this
channel.
Press the GREEN key to set a reminder; the unit
will alert you when the program is about to start
(see page 32).
Press the BLUE key to change the picture size (the
current resolution is shown in the top right corner of
the info bar’s symbol area.
Press the Record button to record the highlighted programme (or stop the
recording if it is already in progress).
Tip. The information icons on the right hand side give you additional
information about the programme (see page 67). For example the type of
transmission (HD or SD), the resolution, the availability of subtitles, text or
interactive services.
