TROUBLESHOOTING

2. REMOTE CONTROL UNIT (RCU) RELATED
Problem Possible cause What to do?
1. Nothing appears on
the receiver front
panel.
Main power cable is
damaged or not
connected.
Check the main
power cord and
insert it in the (wall
socket).
The On/Off switch on
the rear panel is set
to Off.
Set the On/Off switch
in the On position.
General domestic
power failure.
Check the domestic
power supply and
insert a new fuse.
2. You have forgotten
the PIN-code.
- Contact your dealer.
Problem Possible cause What to do?
1. Receiver does not
respond to the
RCU.
Batteries are empty. Insert new batteries.
2. Receiver does
sometimes not
respond to the
RCU.
Direct sun light from
behind the receiver.
Close the sun blinds
or get closer to the
receiver.
You do not aim
sufficiently at the
receiver.
Aim at the receiver
display.
Install a RCU
extender.
Batteries are almost
empty.
Insert new batteries.
3. LIST RELATED
Problem Possible cause What to do?
1. The list is empty.
You have selected an
empty (favorite) list.
Press the White key,
select the Add option
to add the channels.
Press the Green key,
select the All
channels list.
The list is sorted. Press the Blue key,
select the None
option.
No channels found
for the Satellite.
Press the MENU key
and select
Installation setup.
Select another
Search mode and
search again for
channels.
2. I cannot find the
channel while I
know it must be
there.
The list is sorted. Press the Blue key,
select the None
option.
You are in the wrong
list.
Press the Green key,
select the All
channels list.
3. The list shows no
channel names.
The list is grouped. If a selection has a +
in front, press the
i-key. Note that the
selection opens.
Press the Yellow key,
select the None
option.
4. There is only one
list available.
You have selected
the List access
option.
Press the MENU key,
select the List access
option - All.
