Installation setup User LNB
1. SAT To define the satellite you want to search channels on.
Red: Direct access to the edit menu; to add/edit a satellite that is not listed.
2. LNB To define the LNB that you use in your system.
The option User LNB lets you define your own type LNB(F).
3. LO low (User LNB only); To select the Low Band Local oscillator Frequency.
4. LO high (User LNB only); To select the High Band Local oscillator Frequency.
5. DiSEqC (User LNB only); To select the DiSEqC switch.
6. Polarity control (User LNB only); To select the DiSEqC Port to which the LNB is connected.
7. Band control (User LNB only); To select the device that is used to switch between the High and Low Band.
8. 0/22kHz control (User LNB only); To switch the 0/22kHz to On or Off.
9. LNB power To switch the LNB power to On (for dishes) or Off (for distribution networks).
Confirm To save the settings and return to the sub-menu banner.
Installation setup System setup
NOTE
In a DiSEqC1.2 or USALS installation, it is possible to add one or more fixed dishes with the
help of an external switch.
1. System Shows the selected installation type you use as defined during the initial installation. The
System can only be changed during the initial installation which becomes active after a
Factory reset. Please refer to the appendix for more details.
2. LNBs To define the number of LNBs that you use in your system.
If you have a motorized system, you can add a fixed dish in this option. When two LNBs are
selected, the first LNB is the motorized dish where LNB2 is the fixed dish.
3. Switch
Port
SAT
To set the switch that controls the installation. If you have a system with one LNB, select
None. If you select a Switch, note that LNB1 is automatically allocated to Port1. With the Port
and SAT options you can tell the receiver which satellite is connected to which port.
Search channels Search channels does a channel search on the defined satellite(s).
Wait until the signal indicator shows a reading, before you press the OK key to continue.
