This warranty does not cover equipment sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS, shipping and handling, removal or
reinstallation, shipping damage if the equipment was not packed and shipped in the manner prescribed, nor
equipment purchased, serviced, or operated outside the continental United States of America.
Legal Limitations
REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. DISH NETWORK
SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF
ANY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS EQUIPMENT, NOR FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS SYSTEM. UNDER
NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL DISH NETWORK'S LIABILITY, IF ANY, EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID
FOR THIS EQUIPMENT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS SYSTEM IS
LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIOD OF THIS WARRANTY. DISH NETWORK RESERVES THE RIGHT TO
REFUSE TO HONOR THIS WARRANTY IF DISH NETWORK DETERMINES ANY OF THE ABOVE EXCEPTIONS
TO HAVE CAUSED THIS EQUIPMENT NOT TO HAVE PERFORMED PROPERLY. THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE
VOID IF ANY FACTORY-APPLIED IDENTIFICATION MARK, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SERIAL
NUMBERS OR DEVICE ID, HAS BEEN ALTERED OR REMOVED. THIS WARRANTY SHALL ALSO BE VOID IF
THE EQUIPMENT HAS BEEN OPENED BY AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON.
If You Need Assistance
1. Call the Customer Service Center at 1-800-894-9131.
2. If a Representative determines you should return your equipment, you will be given a Return Authorization
(RA) number and instructions for completing the return.
Important Safety Instructions
• Do not use your DISH Network product near water.
• Do not place your DISH Network product near heat sources such as direct sunlight, radiators, heat registers,
stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Do not block the ventilation holes on your DISH Network product. It requires adequate ventilation. Do not
place your DISH Network product in a cabinet or built-in installation unless sufficient ventilation is provided. Do
not place anything on top of your DISH Network product.
• Operate your DISH Network product from the type of power source indicated on the marking label.
• Route power cables so they are not likely to be walked on, rolled over, or pinched by items placed upon or
against them, or otherwise subject to abuse, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the product.
• Never push objects of any kind into this product through openings as they may touch dangerous voltage
points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on your DISH
Network product.
• Unplug your DISH Network product before cleaning. Use only a dry cloth to clean it.
• Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table.
Lightning
For added protection of this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long
periods, unplug your DISH Network product from the wall outlet.
Servicing
Do not attempt to service this product yourself, as opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous
voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Contact the DISH Network
Customer Service Center for servicing information.
Damage requiring service
Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following
conditions:
When the power-supply cord or plug is damaged.
• If liquid has been spilled, or objects have fallen into the product.
• If the product has been exposed to rain or water.
• If the product does not operate normally by following the operating instructions.
Adjust only those controls covered by the operating instructions. An improper adjustment of other controls may
result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the product to its
normal operation.
• If the product has been dropped or damaged in any way.
When the product exhibits a distinct change in performance.
Replacement parts
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service technician has used replacement parts specified by
