Also, follow these important safe-handling
precautions to minimize risk of explosion or re
when preparing fuel/oil mix:
ALWAYS prepare fuel/oil mix in an approved fuel
container
ALWAYS follow mixing instructions in Operator’s
Manuals.
ALWAYS make sure fuel container caps are
tightly secured before shaking container to mix
fuel and oil.
ALWAYS store fuel containers in a safe location,
with caps and vents sealed tightly.
For more detailed safety and rst aid information,

the Material Safety Data Sheet, or contact the oil
company.
DANGER
Alternative fuels, such as E-20 (20% ethanol),
E-85 (85% ethanol) or any fuels not meeting re-
quirements are NOT approved for use in 2-stroke
gasoline engines. Use of alternative fuels may
cause performance problems, loss of power, over-
heating, fuel vapor lock, and unintended machine
operation, including, but not limited to, improper
clutch engagement. Alternative fuels may also
cause premature deterioration of fuel lines, gas-
kets, carburetors and other engine components.
NEVER use raw (unmixed) fuel, or any high-ethanol fuel
(ethanol content greater than 10%) such as E20 -E85, in a two-stroke engine.
Fuel containers lled with 2-stroke engine fuel/oil mix should be identied as
containing fuel/oil mix, and should be stored separately to prevent using raw or
high ethanol gasoline in a two-stroke engine.
