Filing Standard Saw Chain
Level 2
Check bar part number on your Power Pruner. Chain and guide bar
gauge size must be identical. Use bar and chain combinations shown
in table above.
Dull or damaged cutters will result in poor cutting performance,
increased vibration, and premature saw chain failure.
Always stop unit and remove battery before servicing guide bar
and saw chain. Always wear gloves when filing saw chain,
otherwise serious personal injury may result.
Important points for proper maintenance of saw chain:
• Keep the cutters sharp at all times.
• Keep the left and the right cutters properly aligned.
