ASSEMBLY
Cutting Attachment to Drive Shaft Installation
Parts required: Drive Shaft Assembly, Cutting Attachment.
Saw Chain is sharp! Always wear gloves when handling
assembly, otherwise serious personal injury may result.
1. Loosen screws (A) and remove
locator screw (B) on cutting
attachment.
2. Remove the vinyl cap from the
drive shaft.
3. Slide the cutting attachment
onto the shaft housing until the
hole in the neck of the cutting
attachment is aligned with the
hole (C) in the housing (it may
be necessary to rotate the saw
chain slightly to align the
internal pinion and drive shaft).
4. Insert locator screw (B) into
hole (C) and tighten to snug.
5. Tighten bolts (A), clamping the
cutting attachment onto the housing.
