Sharpening
Level 2.
If a power grinder is used DO NOT allow blade to over heat.
1. Move blades to allow file
clearance. Do not pry
against cutting edges.
2. File each edge carefully.
Blade edge should be filed
to a 35-degree angle.
3. Lubricate blades (see
“Lubrication”).
Adjustment
Level 2.
• DHCS-2800: The two blade
bolts nearest blade tip, and
fourth bolt from the tip are
adjustable.
• DHCS-3400: The two blade
bolts nearest blade tip, as well
as the fourth and sixth bolts
from the tip are adjustable.
ONLY blade bolts indicated should be adjusted. All other bolts should
be tightened snugly.
