3. Depress battery latch
release (A) and slide
battery out of power
head.
4. Use compressed air or
a soft bristle brush to
remove debris from
battery and battery
compartment.
Gear Case Lubrication
Level 1.
Parts required: Lithium-based Grease.
1. Remove grease fitting cap
(A).
2. clean dirt from grease fitting.
3. Add grease through grease
fitting. Apply 2-3 pumps of
grease every 15-20 hours of
use.
4. Replace grease fitting cap.
Blades
Hedge trimmer blades are very sharp, touching them may lead
to severe personal injury. Use long hex wrenches and sockets
with extensions when tightening blade bolts and blade lock nuts
to keep hands at a safe distance from sharp blades.
Blades should only be removed and reinstalled by an authorized
servicing dealer, otherwise premature wear or internal damage may
occur.
