This model is equipped with 
a rotating throttle handle that 
can be turned 45° or 90° to 
either side of vertical 
operating position to help 
reduce operator fatigue and 
improve precision trimming.
To operate
1. Fully release power 
switch.
2. Push enable button to turn 
off power to unit.
3. Depress handle release lever (A).
4. Rotate handle in desired direction and release the lever. Handle locks 
into place at 45° or 90° to either side of vertical.
Note: Power switch will not operate when throttle handle is not 
locked into position.
Hedge Trimming
Hedge trimmer blades are very sharp. Touching them may lead 
to severe personal injury. Avoid touching blades whenever 
possible, and always wear gloves to protect hands. 
1. Always grip support and throttle 
handles. 
2. Hold trimmer firmly and 
squeeze power switch to trim.
3. Tilt trimmer so cutting teeth are 
angled slightly toward the 
hedge or shrub and proceed to 
cut.
Never remove hands from unit when blades are moving.
