- Once the unit has started, check for abnormal vibrations and sounds.
- Disconnect the battery:
- Do not touch high temperature or high voltage components while the product is running.
- Turn off the unit when checking or maintaining the product.
- Turn off the unit immediately if anything goes wrong.

1. Depress battery latch
release slide battery out
of saw.
2. Use compressed air or
a soft bristle brush to
remove debris from
battery and battery
compartment.
Oil Filter
1. Do not allow dust to
enter oil tank
2. A clogged oil filter will
affect the normal
lubricating system.
3. Remove filter (A)
through oil filling hole
with a piece of steel
wire or the like.
4. If the oil filter is dirty,
clean it with gasoline or replace it.
5. Install the oil filter as shown.
6. When the inside of the tank gets dirty, rinse the tank out with gasoline to
clean it.
7. Remove debris from O ring and thread of oil tank cap.

Do not degrease brake drums and brake bands. After cleaning, apply
a thin oil between the brake drum and the brake band.
