- Once the unit has started, check for abnormal vibrations and sounds.
- Disconnect the battery:
- Do not touch high temperature or high voltage components while the product is running.
- Turn off the unit when checking or maintaining the product.
- Turn off the unit immediately if anything goes wrong.

Make sure that the saw chain is stopped before putting the unit
on the ground
When you turn off the unit, check to ensure the saw chain has stopped
moving before you lower the product to the ground. Even if the unit has
been turned off, the saw chain can still cause an injury while free-wheeling.
Protective Gear
Wear protective gear
Always wear the following protective gear when working with the
chainsaw.
a Head protection (cap, hat or helmet):
Protects the head
b Ear muffs or ear plugs: Hearing
protection
c Safety goggles: Protect the eyes
d Safety gloves: Protect the hands from
cold and vibration
e Trim fitting clothes (long sleeves, long
trousers): Protect the body
f Safety tip shoes or boots with non-slip
sole: Protect the feet
Failure to observe these precautions could
result in damage to your sight or hearing, or
lead to a serious injury.
When necessary, please use the protective gear below:
• Dust mask: Breathing protection
• Bee net: Insect protection
