• The LED flashes four times per second when the chain brake is
ACTIVATED. To disengage the chain brake, pull front hand guard towards
the operator to the chain brake RELEASED position. The saw will power
itself off in about 5 minutes if the chain brake remains in the ACTIVATED
position.
Stopping the Unit
1. Release trigger switch and trigger switch lockout, and allow saw chain
to stop.
2. Push power button to turn off power to unit.
Note: Power indicator LED (C) turns off when power to unit is turned
off.
◆ When the trigger switch is released, the saw chain
automatically stops. Motor control changes depending on
temperature of the battery therefore stop time of the saw
chain might not be consistent.
◆ If the power button does not stop the chain saw, remove
the battery to stop the power supply to chain saw. Have
your authorized servicing dealer repair power button
before using chain saw again.
◆ If the saw chain does not stop when the trigger switch and
trigger switch lockout are released, remove the battery to
stop the power supply to chain saw. Have your authorized
servicing dealer repair unit before using again.
Before Use
Checking Chain Tension
Remove battery from unit when checking chain tension.
Always loosen sprocket cover nut before turning the chain tension
adjuster, otherwise damage can occur to the sprocket cover and
tensioner.
