The air filters of this product are designed to
be maintenance-free for a long period of time.
However, in the following cases the main and sub
air filters should be replaced.
・If engine output drops markedly
・After 1 year or 50 hours of operation
IMPORTANT
Do not attempt to clean the main or sub air filters
with compressed air.

Air Filter Replacement Procedure
1. Remove the 4 grommets on the air cleaner cover.
2. Remove the 4 bolts securing the air cleaner
cover and then remove the cover.
3. Remove the main and sub air filters. The sub air
filter can be removed by pulling out the choke
and lifting up the filter case and then pressing on
the filter from the under side.
4. Put the filter case back in position.
5. Install new sub and main air filters. Replace both
filters at the same time.
6. Install the air cleaner cover and tighten its 4
bolts. Tighten the 3 bolts (A) and then the bolt (B).
7. Make sure the grommets are facing the right way
when installing them on the air cleaner cover.
