VIEWING NOTES
With Echo Desktop, you can view notes transferred from your smartpen.
VIEWING PAGES
In Pages View, you can see all your pages at once as thumbnails. You can open
them to full size. You can click on green active ink to hear the audio captured with
your notes.
Click back to the single page button to view the selected thumbnail as a
single page, enlarged to fit the Viewing Pane.
Use Control-click to select multiple, non-sequential thumbnails.
Use Shift-click to select a sequential set of thumbnails.
VIEWING PAGES LINKED TO AN AUDIO RECORDING
From Audio View, you can view the pages that have linked audio.
• Click the View Page button next to the audio recording you want to view.
• Choose the audio recording from the list and choose File > View Pages in the
Menu.
Either of these actions switches your view to Pages View and open the Sessions
tab of the Navigation Pane, showing all pages in this audio recording.The first
page of the audio recording shows in the Central Viewing Pane and the audio
recording plays back.
CONVERTING HANDWRITTEN NOTES TO TEXT
You can use MyScript
®
for Livescribe to convert your handwritten notes to digital
text. MyScript for Livescribe is a desktop app from MyScript
®
that is sold separately.
Visit www.livescribe.com/store or www.visionobjects.com.
After you purchase and install MyScript for Livescribe, the MyScript button will
appear in the Echo Desktop menu bar. Make a selection of pages and then click
the MyScript button. Your selected pages will be exported to the MyScript
application.
COPYING AND PASTING PAGES TO OTHER APPS
The Copy menu enables you to copy an image of a selected page so that it can be
pasted into another application.
