(NEXT) coupling loss for any pair combination at room temperature is to be greater than the
value determined using the following formula for all frequencies in the range of 0.772 MHz to
20 MHz for a length of 1000 feet (305 m):

16 AWG (1.3 mm) “Generic” Cable Specifications
Tables 40 and 41 describe the specifications for the 16 AWG (1.3 mm) generic cable qualified
by Echelon for use with TP/FT-10 networks. The generic single twisted pair is stranded (19 x
29) with tinned copper.
