ObjectType
Summary
Indicates the type of objects to which the type should be
applied.
When new values are written to the Scope, ProgramID,
TypeName properties of the TypeSpec object and the
TypeSpec object is passed back to the network variable,
OpenLNS sets the ObjectType property automatically.
Availability
Local, full, and lightweight clients.
Syntax
objectType = typeSpec.ObjectType
Element
Description
objectType
The objects to which the type applies.
The possible values for this element,
which are specified in the
ConstTypeSpecObjectType constant, are
as follows:
0 lcaTypeSpecNv
The type applies to network variables.
2 TypeSpecLmo
This type applies to LonMark objects or
functional blocks (SFPTs and UFPTs).
2 TypeSpecFb
An alias for TypeSpecLmo.
typeSpec
The TypeSpec object to be acted on.

Parent
Summary
Returns the object that spawned the current child object.
The parent object is determined by the means in which a
child object is accessed, not by the OpenLNS Object
hierarchy.
Availability
Local, full, lightweight, and independent clients. Note that
some collection objects are not available to Independent
clients.
