i.LON 100 RNI Limits
The capabilities of the RNI on the i.LON-100 are in largely dependent on the
software running on the host computer. When used as an LNS network
interface, the i.LON-100 RNI has the following limits (see the Introduction to
LonWorks document or the LonMaker User’s Guide for more information about
these limits):
Up to 32768 address table entries.
Up to 15 simultaneous transactions.
Up to 1096 aliases.
Up to 15 groups.
Up to 4096 dynamic network variables.
i.LON 100 Application Limits
The i.LON 100 application has the following limits:
Up to 4096 address table entries.
Up to 32 simultaneous transactions.
Up to 1024 aliases.
The i.LON 100 application theoretically supports up to 3000 dynamic
network variables, but the i.LON 100 will run out of memory before this limit
is reached; the practical limit depends on the sizes of the defined dynamic
network variables. You can check the available memory on the System Info
Web page.
