PSPD SERIES
Eaton’s PSPD series of surge protection devices ensure that critical equipment is protected with the
safest, most reliable and most advanced UL 1449 3rd Edition certified surge protectors. The array of
features, options, and configurations ensures there is a unit for all electrical applications, including
service entrances, data centers, critical distribution switchboards and panelboards, and PDU’s and
RPP’s.
• Common voltages and configurations as well as a variety of surge current capacity ratings from 50
through 400 kA provide application flexibility.
• UL 1449 3rd Edition recognized component for the United States and Canada, covered by
Underwriters Laboratories certification and follow-up service.
• Utilizes self-protected protected metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology, which provides both high
energy capacity and fail-safe operation.
• Side mount units offer factory-sealed assembly, which prevents arc flash and shock hazards.
• Standard units include EMI/RFI filtering to provide effective protection for sensitive electronic loads.
• Side mount units contain no replaceable parts or items that require periodic maintenance thus reducing maintenance costs.
