Instructions for Installing a Circuit Breaker Kit on 1-Phase and 3-Phase Commercial Type Meter Modules
KIT CONTAINS: TOOLS REQUIRED:
- FLAT BLADE SCREWDRIVER - RATCHET - EXTENSION - 5/16 SOCKET - DRILL - 9/32 DIA. DRILL BIT Please read these instructions completely before installing or removing device. MOUNTING BRACKET INSULATOR 1/4-20 PAN HEAD MACHINE SCREW #8-32 MOUNTING SCREW

Couper lalimentation electrique de cet equipement avant dy effectuer des travaux.
1. Remove and discard the lugs from line (ON) end of
breaker. Enlarge the lug mounting tang hole(s) using a 9/32 dia. drill, reomove burrs.
2. Install mounting bracket supplied with kit. First remove
the existing bracket by removing (2) #8-32 screws. Save screws for mounting new bracket. Refer to Fig. 1 at right.
3. Assemble insulator on mounting bracket as shown in
Fig. 1 at right. (the insulator has pressure sensitive adhesive, remove paper backing.)
4. Position breaker over hex connectors as shown in Fig.
1 at right. Assemble but do not tighten (3) for 3-pole breaker or (2) for 2-pole breaker, 1/4-20 screws (a holding type screwdriver should be used to start screws).
5. Install (2) for 3-pole breaker or (1) for 2-pole breaker,
#8-32 mounting screws, supplied with breaker, through breaker into support bracket below. Tighten screws.
6. Tighten the 1/4-20 screws installed in step #4 above.
Torque screws to 60-70 in.-lb. (6.8-7.9 Nm).
