JBUS Protocol
Detailed description of the JBUS/MODBUS protocol is available on our Web site www.mgeups.com
The standard JBUS/MODBUS functions provided by the card are:
◗ function 3 : read n words,
◗ function 5 : write 1 bit,
◗ function 6 : write 1 word,
◗ function 16 : write n words.
The data (states or measures) are stored in a sequencial way in the JBUS/MODBUS tables.
In order to optimize the time to read data, it is recommended to access blocks of words to decrease the number of the
JBUS/MODBUS requests.
