Putting into Operation
CAUTION!
❐ To avoid an accidental start-up, always move the rotation direction changeover
switch to the middle position before you
– insert a screwdriver bit.
– remove a screwdriver bit.
– put the device to one side.
Battery Charge Status
1. Check the charge status of the battery each time before you use the device.
2. Press the switch-on button to switch on the battery charge
indicator.
3. The battery charge indicator will show you the charge sta-
tus:
• R
ED: The battery of the device is empty and needs to be
charged up (see the "Before Initial Use" chapter, "Charging
Up the Cordless Screwdriver" section).
• R
ED-AMBER: The battery of the device is half-charged.
• R
ED-AMBER-GREEN: The battery of the device is fully charged
up and ready for operation.
