Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION Read all instructions before assembly and installation. To avoid damaging this product, assemble it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard. Inspect each part for defects that may have occurred during shipping. Keep your receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase. TOOLS REQUIRED Safety goggles Phillips screwdriver Wire strippers Wire cutters Flathead screwdriver Ladder HARDWARE INCLUDED NOTE: Hardware not shown to actual size.

Installation 1 Adjusting the cable length the electrical connection 3 Making and installing the canopy Loosen the set screw (C) and re-locate the strain relief (A) to adjust length of the cable (D). NOTE: Always use wire nuts (AA) or marrettes (included) to connect wires and push all excess wire and connections back into the junction box (not included). Connect the ground wire from the branch circuit to the green ground screw (DD) on the single crossbar (BB).

Installation (continued) 5 Installing the bulb 4 Installing the lamp shade With a tissue or glove, install the 60W Edison E26 bulb (EE) to the socket of the fixture body (E). Attach the lamp shade (F) on the socket of the fixture body (E) and secure with the socket ring (G). Do not overtighten. CAUTION: Oil from your fingers will decrease life of the 60W Edison E26 bulb (EE).

Care and Cleaning Clean the light fixture carefully with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any cleaner with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Troubleshooting Problem The bulb will not light. The fuse blows or the circuit breaker trips when the light is turned on. Possible Cause Solution The bulb is burned out. Replace the light bulb. The power is off. Ensure that the power supply is turned on. The circuit breaker is off. Ensure that the circuit breaker is set to the ON position.
