If the measured weight is more than 5 kg or 11 lbs 0.4 oz and you
intended to directly continue with weighing, press
TARE prior to the
next weighing.
Adding weighing goods (TARE)
This function is e.g. practical for baking, if you would like to add another
ingredient to an ingredient that is already on the scale.
1. Press ON/OFF/TARE, to reset the scale to 0 g, 0.000 kg or 0: 0.0 lb:oz.
2. Add the new weighing goods.
In the display, the weight of the added weighing goods is shown.
3. Repeat the procedure, if you intend to add more ingredients for
weighing.
Switching off scale
X Keep the ON/OFF/TARE button pressed until the display extinguishes.
If the scale is not used for approx. 60 seconds, it will switch off
automatically.
Other functions
Package function
After activating the package function, the measured weight continues to be
displayed for approx. 5 seconds after removing the weighing goods. This is
particularly advantageous if the weighing goods (e.g. packages) are
particularly bulky and covers the display. To activate the package function,
please proceed as follows:
1. Press MODE and keep MODE pressed until the unit of measurement
flashes.
2. Place/lay the weighing goods on the scale.
3. After approx. 3 seconds, remove the weighing goods from the scale
again.
4. The measured weight will be displayed for approx. 5 seconds. Read off
the value.
Then, the display will return to 0 g, 0.000 kg or 0: 0.0 lb:oz and the unit of
measurement will no longer flash. To reactivate the package function start
again at step 1.
