z There are feet on the underside of the scale. As furniture/floor surfaces
are made of diverse materials and are treated with diverse care
products, it cannot be entirely ruled out that some of these materials
contain components, which could attack and soften the appliance feet.
If necessary, place a non-slip base under the appliance feet.
z Remove the batteries from the appliance, if they are exhausted or if you
are not using the scale for a longer period of time. This way, you avoid
damage that could result from leakage.
z Do not expose the batteries to any extreme conditions by e.g. laying
them on a radiator or under direct sunlight. Increased leakage hazard!
z Clean the battery and appliance contacts prior to insertion, if required.
z Only use batteries of the same type, do not use different types or used
and new batteries together.
z Do not carry out any changes to the device. Only allow repairs to be
carried out by a professional workshop and pay attention to these
guarantee conditions.
z Never use hard, scratching or abrasive detergents or similar, for
cleaning the scale. This could scratch the surface.
CAUTION – HANDLE CAREFULLY!
This electronic scale is a precision appliance with sensitive
measurement technology.
The sensitive weighing sensors in the fee can be damaged from setting
up the scale with excessive force.
Ensure that you always set up the scale carefully, in order to avoid hard
impact on the sensors/feet and thereby avoid damage.
