WHAT MAKES A SUPERNOVA MKVI DSP
Digital Class “D” Amplier
The MKVI DSP amplier utilizes an advanced class “D” circuitry with over 90%
efciency, allowing it to perform continuously without getting hot. This 1500 Watts
peak power amplier is fully equipped with IR inputs, auto room tuning adjustments,
0–180º phase switches, low level RCA inputs & outputs, auto signal sensing, and
iWoofer™ app controlled DSP module.
Premium Long Throw Drivers
The active driver installed in every MKIV DSP 12P and 15P is specically designed for
accurate reproduction of bass and sub-bass frequencies. Built with TCT (Turbine
Cooled Transducer) technology, stitched tensile leads, anti-wobble cone construc-
tion, and reinforced dust cap, the MKVI DSP active driver effortlessly produces
phenomenal bass with extremely low distortion while staying cool.
Mass Tuned SLAPS (Symmetrically Loaded Audio Passive System)
Earthquake’s own patented SLAPS passive radiator technology dramatically in-
creases the subwoofer’s efciency and capability for ultra-low frequency reproduc-
tion. The unique design of the SLAPS employs dual (identical) suspensions, allowing
the passive driver to move the same amount of air in either direction. Coupled with
the active driver, the SLAPS enables the subwoofer to deliver louder bass without
using more power from the amplier.
Luxurious Piano Gloss Cabinet
The deep luxurious black piano lacquer begins with a thorough sanding and priming,
followed by multiple applications of black lacquer with additional ne sanding be-
tween each layer and nished with a smooth, high gloss clear coat.
