HEDGE TRIMMER SAFETY WARNINGS • DANGER – Keep hands away from blade. Contact with blade will result in serious personal injury. • Use both hands when operating the hedge trimmer. ASSEMBLY CONVERTING FROM POLE SAW TO CHAIN SAW UNPACKING This product requires assembly. 1. Disconnect rear handle and cutting head from ends of telescopic pole by lifting the quick release button and pulling straight out. (Fig. 4-5) 2. Insert the rear handle directly into the chainsaw cutting head . Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included.
ASSEMBLY CONVERTING FROM POLE HEDGE TRIMMER TO HEDGE TRIMMER 1. Disconnect rear handle and cutting head from ends of telescopic pole by lifting the quick release button and pulling straight out. Rotate the collar counterclockwise to loosen.Extend the pole to the desired length.
INSTALLING/REPLACING THE GUIDE BAR AND CHAIN 10. Fit the bar flush against the mounting surface so that the bar stud is in the slot of the bar. NOTE: When placing the bar on the bar stud, ensure that the adjusting pin is in the chain tension pin hole. 11. Replace the chain cover. 12. Tighten the tension knob. Remove all slack from the chain by turning the knob clockwise until the chain seats snugly against 13. When the tension knob is fully tightened, the chain is the tightest.
CHAIN TENSION AND MAINTENANCE Lift file away from the steel on each return stroke. DEPTH GAUGE CLEARANCE (Fig. 22) Put a few firm strokes on every tooth. File all left hand cutters in one direction. Then move to the other side and file the right hand cutters in the opposite direction. Occasionally remove filing from the file with a wire brush. (Fig. 19) The depth gauge should be maintained at a clearance of .025 in. (0.6 mm). Use a depth gauge tool for checking the depth gauge clearances.
OPERATING Before you start the unit, make sure the pole/chain saw is not contacting any object. WARNING: Do Not use the pole saw with any type of accessory or attachment. Such usage might be hazardous. STARTING THE POLE/CHAIN SAW WARNING: Beware of the cord while operating the saw. Keep the cord away from the chain. Be careful not to trip over the extension cord. Push the safety button in with your thumb and then squeeze the switch trigger with your fingers.
OPERATING AND INSTRUCTIONS PROPER CUTTING STANCE WARNING: Check the tree for damaged or dead branches that could fall and hit you during felling. Weight should be balanced with both feet on solid ground. Keep left arm with elbow locked in a “straight arm” position to withstand any kickback force when using pole saw. Your right hand should be gripping the handle and positioned firmly against body for added support. Your body should always be to the left of the chain line.
OPERATING CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS As the tree limbs starts to fall, stop the saw and immediately retreat along the cleared path. Watch the action in case something falls your way. Be alert for overhead limbs or branches that may fall and watch your footing. OVERBUCKING UNDER-BUCKING WARNING: Never cut through to the notch when making a back-cut. OPERATING Before you start the unit, make sure the pole/ hedge trimmer is not contacting any object. STARTING THE POLE HEDGE TRIMMER/ HEDGE TRIMMER (Fig. 31) When using the hedge trimmer, use your left hand to grip the front handle with double switch, while the right hand press the safety button and squeeze the trigger switch to start unit. TRIMMING INSTRUCTIONS USING THE HEDGE TRIMMER LEVEL HEDGES - To obtain exceptionally level hedges, a piece of string can be stretched along the length of the hedge as a guide. STORAGE Store the tool in a dry, clean area out of reach of children. During extended periods of storage, ensure that the tool is protected against corrosion and rust. At the end of the season, or if the tool is not being used for longer than a month, wipe over all metal surfaces with an oil impregnated cloth to protect them from corrosion or spray with a fine coat of oil.

MONTAJE CÓMO TRANSFORMAR UNA MOTOSIERRA TELESCÓPICA EN UNA MOTOSIERRA DESEMBALAJE Este producto requiere algunas operaciones de montaje. Extraiga el producto y los accesorios de la caja con cuidado. Para ajustar el polo telescópico, desconecte el producto del suministro eléctrico. Para aflojar el collar de fijación, gírelo en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj. Extienda el accesorio telescópico hasta que tenga la longitud deseada.
INSTALACIÓN / REEMPLAZO DE LA BARRA GUÍA Y LA CADENA 10. Coloque la placa de la barra sobre la superficie de montaje de manera que el espárragos quede en la ranura larga de la barra. NOTA: Al colocar la barra sobre el espárrago, asegúrese de que el perno de ajuste se encuentre en el orificio del perno de tensión de la cadena. 11. Vuelva a montar la tapa de la cadena. 12. Ajuste la perilla de tensión.
TENSIÓN DE LA CADENA Y MANTENIMIENTO Levante la lima del acero en cada pasada de vuelta. SEPARACIÓN DEL CALIBRE DE PROFUNDIDAD (Fig. 22) Realice algunas pasadas firmes en cada diente. Lime todas las cuchillas izquierdas en una misma dirección. Luego siga con el otro lado y lime las cuchillas derechas en la dirección opuesta. De vez en cuando, retire las limaduras con un cepillo de alambre. (Fig. 19) El calibre de profundidad se debe mantener a una distancia de 0,025 pulg. (0,6 mm).
OPERACIÓN Antes de encender la unidad, asegúrese de que la motosierra telescópica/de cadena no esté en contacto con ningún objeto. ASSEMBLAGE CONVERSION DU TAILLE-HAIE À MANCHE À TAILLE-HAIE 1. RÉGLAGE DE LA LONGUEUR DU MANCHE TÉLESCOPIQUE (Fig.11) Débranchez la poignée arrière et la tête de coupe des extrémi tés du manche télescopique en soulevant le bouton de libération rapide et en tirant tout droit. (Fig. 9-10) 1. Débranchez le produit de l'alimentation pour régler le manche télescopique. Tournez le collier dans le sens anti-horaire pour le desserrer. Déployez le manche à la longueur souhaitée.
REMPLACEMENT DU GUIDE-CHAÎNE ET DE LA CHAÎNE 13. Lorsque le bouton de tension est complètement serré, la chaîne est le plus serré qu’il soit. Pour régler légèrement la tension de la chaîne, desserrez le bouton de tension et tournez-le légèrement dans le sens antihoraire jusqu’au bon tensionnement de la chaîne. 10. Placez le guide-chaîne à ras contre la surface de montage afin que son goujon soit dans la fente du guide-chaîne.
TENSION ET MAINTENANCE DE LA CHAÎNE Relevez la lime de l’acier à chaque retour de celle-ci. DÉGAGEMENT DU LIMITEUR DE PROFONDEUR (Fig. 22) Effectuez quelques coups fermes sur chaque dent. Affûtez toutes les gouges de gauche dans un sens. Passez ensuite à l’autre côté et affûtez les gouges de droite dans le sens contraire. De temps en temps, retirez la limaille de la lime à l’aide d’une brosse métallique. (Fig. 19) Le limiteur de profondeur doit être maintenu à un dégagement de 0,6 mm (0,025 po.
UTILISATION Avant de mettre l’outil en marche, assurez-vous que la scie à long manche ne touche pas d’objets. AVERTISSEMENT : n’utilisez pas la tronçonneuse avec n’importe quel type d’accessoire ou d’outil. Une telle utilisation pourrait être dangereuse.
