Placement Connection Placement Styles Before connection As shown in the figures below, this device can be placed in 4 different styles. The factory setting is “floor-mounted front projection.” Set the placement style in the default setting menu p.30 , in accordance with your needs. • Read the owner’s manual of the device to connect to the projector. • Some types of computer cannot be used or connected to this projector. Check for an RGB output terminal, supported signal p.38 , etc.
Operations Turning the power on and off Connecting the power cord Turning the power off 1 2 1 Insert the power cord plug into a wall or other power outlet. When the power cord is plugged in, the following three green indicators will come on for several seconds: ON, TEMP, and LAMP. Next, the ON indicator will change to orange, indicating standby mode. The picture and sound are cut off. The Mute function is released when pressing the MUTE button again. To cancel the command, press the CANCEL button.
Using handy features (Continued) Using the menus ■ Displaying Information [Status display] You can call up on-screen menus, and conduct a number of adjustments and settings using the operation buttons p.16 on the control panel (main unit side) and remote control. This displays information about the input signal, lamp use time, etc. Press the button twice (or press the CALL button on the remote control once).
