c. Local Frame Parameters Select the distance Units (feet or meters). Enter the
bearing of the first survey line in the Line 1 Azimuth field. The software will use
this value to correctly orient images on maps that are exported as KMZ or HTML
files.
9. Enter the calibration dialog by pressing the Calibrate button. If there is an existing
calibration will be used to determine density/compaction, select that calibration now by
pressing the Open button and selecting the appropriate named calibration. Alternatively,
if cores from the first part of the survey will be used to make a new calibration, press the
New button and enter a name for the new calibration. Select the Density units: (i.e.,
Percent voids, Density (g/cc), Density (pcf), or Percent compaction). Finally, enter the
Minimum target density and Maximum target density. These values will be used when
generating reports to indicate the percentage of locations that fall within acceptable
limits.
