SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Antenna
• The antenna must not be bended with an angle greater than 90
o
.
Pack battery
• The pack battery must not be:
short–circuited,
dismantled,
thrown into fire,
exposed to high temperatures (> to 60°C/140°F).
• Use appropriate collectors for worn pack batteries.
INSTALLATION (see Plate A–I)
Belt clip (option)
• Insert the belt clip (item 2) in the battery pack (item 1).
Battery pack
• Align the six battery pack tabs (item 9) with the six handportable slots (item 8).
Insert the tabs in the slots.
• Slide the battery pack (item 1) until it is locked inside.
• To remove the battery pack: press the unlocking button (item 3) and withdraw
the battery pack.
Antenna
• Make sure the seal (item 5) is installed on the tip of the antenna (item 6).
• Screw the antenna on the handportable antenna connector (item 4).
• Gently tighten the antenna.
Note: To be operational, the G2 handportable must be charged, configured and
personalized with the TPS.
