5 STARTING UP / SHUTTING DOWN
5.1 PRESENTATION OF THE CCP
Plate A–XI shows the main sub–assemblies of the CCP.
5.2 STARTING UP THE TERMINAL
• Switch on the terminal by pressing the call selector – On/Off button
(item 5) of the CCP.
The terminal emits 2 consecutive beeps and the message “WAIT” is
displayed for a few seconds,

followed by the welcome message.

Note: In certain cases the project name replaces the “*MC9600*”
message on the display.
If the terminal is within the range of an operating station, the
registration process is initiated until the antenna symbol and field
level symbol are displayed.
