Display Description
Locked The HMI is locked
Unlocked The HMI is unlocked
Remote: The device is under remote control from....
Analog ....the (optional) built-in analog interface
USB ....the built-in USB port
Ethernet ....the (optional) built-in Ethernet port
Local The device has been locked by the user explicitly against remote control
Alarm: Alarm condition which has not been acknowledged or still exists.
Event: Auserdenedeventhasoccurredwhichisnotyetacknowledged.

1.9.5.2 Rotary knobs
As long as the device is in manual operation the two rotary knobs are used to adjust set values as well as
setting the parameters in the MENU. For a detailed description of the individual functions see section „3.4
Manual operation“ on page 28. While the screen shows the main page, the assignment of the left-hand
knob can be changed by tapping either the blue (voltage) or green/orange (power or resistance) area on screen,
unless the control panel is locked. The right-hand knob is then permanently assigned to current (red).
Alternatively, values can be entered directly with a ten-key pad by tapping on the small icons .

The rotary knobs also have a pushbutton function which is used in all menu options for value adjustment to move
the cursor by rotation as shown:

In manual operation every set value can be set in the increments given above. In this case
the actual input values set by the device will lie within percentage tolerances as shown in the
technical data sheets. These will inuence the actual values.
