Ausgang
Zur Verfügung stehen Geräte mit einer Ausgangsspannung
von 0...16V bis 0...500V, Ströme von 0...4A bis 0...170A und
Leistungen von 320W bis 0...5kW. Die Ausgangsparameter
des Gerätes wie Spannung, Strom, Leistung, OVP etc. kön-
nen über ein Menü, angezeigt im Display, eingestellt werden.
Schutzfunktionen
Um die angeschlossenen Verbraucher vor Zerstörung zu
schützen kann ein Überspannungsschutz (OVP) eingestellt
werden. Beim Überschreiten des eingestellten Wertes wird
der Ausgang abgeschaltet und es wird eine Warnmeldung im
Display und als Statusmeldung auf der analogen Schnittstelle
ausgegeben.
Durch die einstellbare Strombegrenzung sind die Geräte
zudem kurzschluß- und überlastfest.
Fernfühlung (Sense)
Der serienmäßig vorhandene Fernfühlungseingang kann
direkt am Verbraucher angeschlossen werden, um den
Spannungsabfall auf den Lastleitungen zu kompensieren.
Das Gerät erkennt dies selbstständig und regelt die Aus-
gangsspannung direkt am Verbraucher.
Analogschnittstelle
Die Analogschnittstelle verfügt über analoge Steuereingänge
mit 0...10V oder 0...5V um Spannung und Strom von 0...100%
zu programmieren. Ausgangsspannung und Strom können
über analoge Monitorausgänge mit 0...10V oder 0...5V aus-
gelesen werden. Weiterhin gibt es parametrierbare Status-
eingänge und -ausgänge.
Parallelschaltung
Die 5kW-Modelle verfügen zusätzlich über einen Sharebus-
Verbinder, mit dem schnell und einfach eine spannungsge-
regelte Parallelschaltung mit symmetrischer Stromverteilung
auf bis zu 10 Einheiten eingerichtet werden kann.
Optionen
• Digitale, galvanisch getrennte Schnittstellenkarten für
RS232, CAN, USB, Ethernet/LAN zur Steuerung per
PC. Für diese Schnittstellen steht ein Steckplatz auf der
Rückseite der Geräte zur Verfügung, so daß sowohl ein
Nachrüsten als auch ein Wechsel der Schnittstellen pro-
blemlos möglich ist. Die Schnittstellen werden vom Gerät
automatisch erkannt und eingebunden. Dazu gibt es eine
freie Windows-Software, die u. A. Datenaufzeichnung und
automatisiertes Steuern ermöglicht. Siehe Seiten 62 und 61.
• Wasserkühlung (nur 5kW-Modelle)
Output
Different units with output voltages from 0...16V to 0...500V,
output currents from 0...4A to 0...170A and an output power
ratings of 320W up to 0...5kW are available. Output voltage,
current, power, OVP etc. can be set via a menu and are shown
on the integrated display.
Protective features
Intended to protect connected loads, it is possible to dene
an overvoltage protection threshold (OVP). If the output
voltage exceeds the dened limit, the output is shut off. Also
a status signal on the display and via the analogue interface
will be generated.
Due to the adjustable current limitation, the devices are also
short-circuit- and overload-proof.
Remote sense
The sense input can be connected directly to the load to com-
pensate voltage drops along the power leads. If the sense
input is connected to the load, the power supply will correct
the output voltage to ensure that the accurate required voltage
is available on the load.
Analogue interface
Analogue inputs with voltage ranges from 0V...10V or 0V...5V
to set output voltage and current from 0...100% are available.
To monitor the output voltage and current, analogue outputs
are provided with voltage ranges of 0V...10V or 0V...5V.
Several digital inputs and outputs can be used to control and
monitor the status.
Parallel connection
The 5kW models feature an additional Sharebus connector,
which makes it easy to connect up to 10 units in parallel
operation and in order to gain symmetric current distribution.
Options
• Isolated digital interface cards for RS232, CAN, USB,
Ethernet /LAN to control the device by PC. The interface
slot is located on the rear panel, making it easy for the user
to plug in a new interface or to replace an existing one.
The interface will be automatically detected by the device
and requires nor or only little conguration. Included with
the interface cards is a free Windows software which pro-
vides control and monitoring, data logging and automated
sequences. See pages 62 and 61.
