QUICK START GUIDE
STEREO ASSEMBLY
FLATFACE DIN/DETACHABLE FACEPLATE/PULLOUT (DIN-E) RADIOS
Slide the mounting sleeve (metal shroud) into the panel’s radio opening and bend all available mount-
ing tabs outward (see inset). Slide the radio into the mounting sleeve once it has been fastened to the
kit panel until the radio locks into place.
NOTE: The mounting sleeve must be removed from the radio fi rst! Your radio may be snapped into
its sleeve. Slide the mounting sleeve (metal shroud) off the radio towards the back.
REMOVE SLEEVE FROM STEREO
1. Locate the locking mechanism on your DIN stereo sleeve
(typically) on the side.
2. Slip mounting sleeve towards
rear of stereo and remove.

STEREO CONNECTION
USE THE APPROPRIATE e2 WIRING CONNECTOR BELOW (not included)
Wire up your new aftermarket stereo to the e2 wiring connector and install the e2 kit and new stereo
assembly in your vehicle. Follow the dash disassembly for your specifi c vehicle in reverse order to
reassemble your dash.

Remove the sections indicated.
Use side cutters, an X-acto
knife or hacksaw blade to cut
the top and bottom sections
(follow the cut lines) then simply
pull outward to break off each tab.

CÔTÉ PLAT DIN/PLAQUETTE DÉTACHABLE/(DIN-E) RADIOS DÉTACHABLES
Glissez le manchon d'installation (entouré de métal) à l'intérieur de l'ouverture de la radio du pan-
neau et tournez toutes les attaches de montage vers l’extérieur (voir l’encadré). Glissez la radio à
l’intérieur du manchon d’installation une fois qu’il a été attaché au matériel du panneau jusqu'à ce
la radio se verrouille en place.
REMARQUE: Il faut d’abord enlever le manchon de montage de la radio ! Il se peut que la radio soi-
tenclenchée dans son manchon. Glissez le manchon de montage (protecteur en métal) vers l’arrière
pour retirer radio.
ENLEVER LE MANCHON DE LA RADIO
1. Situez le mécanisme de verrouillage sur votre manchon
DIN de la radio (d'habitude) sur le côté.
2. Glissez le manchon de montage vers
l’arrière de la radio et enlevez-le.

CONNECTION* DE LA RADIO
UTILISEZ LE CONNECTEUR CÂBLAGE DE e2 APPROPRIÉ (*non inclus)
Câblez votre nouvelle radio qui n’est pas d’origine avec le connecteur de câblage e2 et installez
l’ensemble e2 et le nouvel assemblage de radio à votre véhicule. Ensuite, suivez les étapes de
désassemblage, pour votre véhicule spécifi que, dans l’ordre inverse pour rassembler votre tableau
de bord.

Retirez les sections indiquées.
Utilisez des pinces coupantes de
côté, un couteau X-acto ouune
lame de scie à fer pour couper les
sections supérieure et inférieure (en
suivant les lignes de coupage)et tirez simplement
vers l’extérieur pour casser chaque languette.
