Bring the seal faces together and remove the tool.
Position a new fi xed face of the mechanical seal into its
housing as well as a new o-ring. Lubricate the o-ring. Slide
the seal housing onto the motor casing making sure not to
damage the mechanical seal face or the o-ring.
Position the circlip in its housing.
Position the shoulder washer on the mechanical seal.
Lubricate the rubber of the rotating part of a new mechanical
seal. Fit the seal onto the special tool and slide it down on
the shaft.
By means of a syringe fi ll the oil chamber with 55 ml of
ESSO Marcol 82 oil or equivalent.

Position two new o-rings in their sits on the motor housing
and lubricate them. With caution in not damaging the
o-rings, fi t the oil chamber cover.

Position a new fi xed face of the mechanical seal into its
housing. Lubricate the rubber of the rotating part of a new
mechanical seal. Fit the seal onto the specifi c tool and slide
it down on the shaft.

Bring the seal faces together and remove the tool.
Position the two split rings “D” and the split ring housing
“C”.
Position the shoulder washer on the mrchanical seal.
Begin assembly of the pump by positioning the fi rst impeller
against the split ring housing, the fi rst diffuser, the next
impeller and so no.
