Using the DHCP feature included in the router, your internet access can be easily shared among the multiple computers on your network.

1) POWER ON: After you have correctly connected your router to your PC and Cable/DSL modem, please power on all units. 2) INSERT THE SETUP CD: Find the Setup-CD in your package and insert it into your CD-Rom drive. Wait for the Auto-Load Page to load. If the page does not load, please click on the “My Computer” icon of you PC and find your CD-Rom Drive. Right-Click on the CD-Rom drive icon and choose “Explore.” Find the file titled “autorun” and execute it.
LOGIN AND PASSWORD When the Login pop-up for the Router appears, please enter “admin” for the username to access the configuration screen. (Note: By default, there is no password. If you cannot get in, please reset the router by pressing the button next to the antenna on the back of the router and try logging in again.) When the menu bar on the left loads, select the “SETUP WIZARD” option on the top menu bar.
BROADBAND CONNECTION TYPE: The SETUP WIZARD – Internet Access setup page configures your router to your specific broadband connection type. If you are unfamiliar with the type of broadband connection you have please contact your ISP for the correct information. Please click “Next” after choosing Internet Access Service Type and the Wizard will guide you through the rest of the setup. Depending on which selection you choose further information from your ISP may be required (i.e.
4) WIRELESS CONFIGURATION: The default wireless settings for the Wireless-G router are: Setting Wireless Router SSID Default value: Untitled This may be changed on the Wireless screen, on the Wireless Router's main menu. WEP Default value: Disabled Use the Wireless screen, on the Wireless Router's main menu, to enable and configure WEP. Please set your wireless products to all use the ID: Untitled if you do not wish to change the default settings.

PC Setup – Windows Test In order for all computers connected to the Wireless Router to work they must be configured correctly. To test this please open your web browser and type www.hawkingtech.com in your web browser’s address bar. If this does not work then POWER OFF YOUR CABLE MODEM OR DSL MODEM FOR 30 SECONDS. MAKE SURE YOUR WIRELESS ROUTER IS TURNED ON AND CONNECTED TO THE CABLE/DSL MODEM BEFORE YOU POWERON YOUR MODEM AGAIN.
