VGA Interface
T he E -T ouch Magnum 120/150 has a 15-pin analog RGB connector
located at the r ear side of the chassis. It can suppor t its own LCD
display and an expansion CRT or analog monitor at the s ame time.
However, as the L CD panel used in the 15” s ys tem (E -T ouch
Magnum 150) is of the r es olution of 1024 x 768 and in 12.1”
system (E-T ouch Magnum 120) is 800 x 600, therefore, to s uppor t
a CR T or analog monitor simultaneously, the monitor ’s VGA
resolution has to be s et to 800 x 600 for E-T ouch Magnum 120 and
1024 x 768 for E-T ouch Magnum 150. The connection to an analog
monitor is an easy plug-in of the VGA
D-S UB 15-pin connector to the R GB interface.
T here is some application software that is to be ex ecuted in
800*600 resolution. When the s oftwar e is running under E-T ouch
Magnum 150, only part of the s cr een will show on the L CD display.
I f the application has to r un in full screen, you need to update the
system VGA dr ivers with an auto ex pans ion utility. However, due to
resolution limitation, the tex t mode will look slightly distorted.
PS/2 Keyboard Interface
T he E -T ouch Magnum 120/150 provides a s tandar d PS /2 keyboard
connector located at the r ear panel. If the us er would like to us e AT
keyboard, then an adapter to connect the PS /2 KB to AT KB is
needed.
PS/2 Mouse Interface
T he E -T ouch Magnum system has one PS /2 mouse connector
located at the r ear side. A s imple plug-in will make the connection.
