CAUTION: DO NOT handle propeller parts
while the flight battery is connected. Personal
injury could result.
Disassembly
1. Disconnect the battery from the
ESC/receiver.
2. Hold the spur gear and turn the propeller
counterclockwise(lookingfromthefrontof
themodel)toremove.Turnthepropeller
clockwisetoinstall.Makesurethepropeller
sizenumbers(140x45)faceawayfromthe
motor(seeillustration).
3. Carefully remove the spinner and glue from
the propeller.
4. Hold the nut (A)ontheendofthepropshaft
using needle-nose pliers or hemostats.
5.Turnthegearontheshaftclockwise(looking
fromfrontofmodel)toremovethenut.
6. Gently pull the shaft (B)fromthegearbox(C)
andmakesurethewasher(D)andtwo
bushings (E)arenotlost.
7.DisconnectthemotorfromtheESC/
receiver.
8.Gentlypushthemotoroutofthegearbox
and remove the motor.
NOTICE:DONOTremovethegearboxfrom
the aircraft. Damage to the aircraft could result.
Assembly
Assembletheaircraftusingtheinstructions
above in reverse order.
•Correctlyalignthepropshaftgearwiththe
pinion gear on the motor.
•Correctlyconnectthemotortothe
ESC/receiversothatthepoweredmotor
turnsthepropellercounterclockwise(looking
fromthefrontofthemodel).
•Attachthespinnertothepropellerusingfoam-
compatibleCA(cyanoacrylateadhesive).
