IMPROPER USE, INSTALLATION, ADJUSTMENT, ALTERATION, SERVICE ORMAINTENANCE CAN CAUSE INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. ● To ensure optimal performance, keep the cooler/warmer unit's fans clear of dirt and debris. Stuck fans will overheat the unit and can pose a potential fire hazard. ● Do not place any cloth or paper products on the unit.
BASIC INFORMATION Product Characteristics ● The Mini Thermoelectric Cooler and Warmer is an effective means of keeping your food and drinks cool during the summer and warm during the winter. Perfect for your desk at work, living room, dorm room, or a long car ride. You'll always be able to enjoy fresh food and drinks without having to worry about storage. ● Fits up to six 12 oz. cans. ● The lightweight design of the Thermoelectric Cooler and Warmer allows it to be carried by hand or in a small backpack.
OPERATION ● Before plugging in the device, make sure the switch on the back of the cooler is set to the OFF setting. Then, insert the power cord into the unit. ● Insert the plug into a wall outlet or cigarette lighter outlet in a car. ● For Cooling: Set the power switch to the COLD setting. A green light (A) will turn on to indicate the device in now in cooling mode. ● For Warming: Set the power switch to the HOT setting. A red light (B) will turn on to indicate the device is now in heating mode.
OPTIMIZING PERFORMANCE: ● It's suggested to put in pre-chilled food and drinks. If drinks are at room temperature it will take 2-3 hours to chill them. ● The Thermoelectric Cooler and Warmer is not designed to heat cold food, only to pre-serve hot foods at a warm temperature. However, it can heat cooler foods given at least 2 hours. ● With proper use the Thermoelectric Cooler and Warmer can preserve the temperature of food, hot or cold, for hours on end.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ● Can I store insulin in my Euhomy unit? Not all medicines can be refrigerated, depending on the storage conditions of the medicines. ● What is the cooling temperature of the MF-5? The MF-5 can keep contents (food, drinks, snacks, medications, etc.) cool anywhere from 35° to 40° below ambient temperature. Please refer to page 3 of this Instruction Manual for complete product specifica tions. ● Can I adjust the thermostat on the MF-5? No, the MF-5 does not have a thermostat.
BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING The most common issues experienced by Euhomy users are caused by voltage incompatibility.
