ADJUSTING THE BRAKE PAD CLEARANCE
Before you tighten the bolts securing the brake caliper stop you will want to adjust
the brake pad clearance.
1 Release the brakes.
Note: In order for the brakes to release, power must be on, air connected, red
button on pendant not lit, and the emergency stop button not depressed.
2 Insert the brake adjusting shim between the inboard brake pad and the brake
rotor.
