Tecan, Sunrise Microplate Reader
With an innovative range of options, this versatile microplate absorbance reader provides all of the
features needed for numerous applications which are required in diagnostic and research laboratories
with high throughput.
As standard, the reader is controlled using a PC and is supplied with Excel
™
-based XFluor software
™
.
XFluor provides instrument control and data acquisition. For more advanced data reduction and report
generation, Magellan software is available as an optional extra. Through a touchscreen option, the
Sunrise can operate without a PC, allowing computer-independent data processing and saving space.
Options such as a touchscreen combined with a Windows
®
CE based on-board software, tuneable
wavelength filter, temperature control and a bar-code reader can be added to the basic Sunrise instrument
(please specify at time of ordering).
Applications: absorbance measurements in microplate-based assays, ELISA, agglutination assays, kinetic assays.

The Sunrise reader is supplied with XFluor software for PC control (compatible with Excel 200 or Excel
XP), absorbance filters: 405, 450, 492 and 620nm and operating manual.
