Question 12: What should I do if my netbook or Chromebook isn’t charging?
Immediately unplug the charger.
Make sure that your netbook or Chromebook is compatible with the charger. See Question 1 for
more information.

Question 13: What should I do if the charger powers my netbook or Chromebook,
but doesn’t charge the battery?

Question 14: Can I use this charger if my netbook or Chromebook needs more
than 40 W of power?
No. You cannot use a lower wattage charger with a higher wattage computer. While the charger
may seem to work, it will likely not run the computer and charge the battery at the same time.
Also, when your computer is running at full capacity, the charger may not be able to provide
enough power and fail. See Question 1 for a list of compatibility requirements.
Question 15: What does the indicator light mean?

the charger immediately and contact Dynex
customer support at 1-800-305-2204 (U.S).

Question 16: Why is the charger warm when I use it?
It is normal for a charger to feel warm during use. Make sure that it is placed in a well-ventilated
area to prevent over-heating. Avoid placing the charger directly on soft surfaces (such as a
couch).
If your charger feels abnormally hot, unplug it and make sure that it is compatible with your
computer. See Question 1 for more information.
Question 17: How long is the power cord?
The total length from the wall to your netbook or Chromebook is 9.8 feet (3 meters).
Question 18: How should I wrap the cables for travel?
Wrap the cords without sharp bends or folds. For the longest life, do not wrap the cables around
the adapter itself.
