4. In Use
Your Dynaudio Music speaker can be operated and controlled from 
its on-body buttons, the remote control handset or entirely via the 
Dynaudio Music app.
4.1 On-body Buttons
The following paragraphs describe the on-body buttons for each 
Dynaudio Music speaker model.
Music 1 and Music 3
Standby: Press and hold (1 sec) the standby button to switch your 
Music 1 on or off.
Volume +/–: Press and hold the + or – buttons respectively to raise or 
lower the volume. Volume level is indicated by the indicator array on 
the top panel.
Playback (       ): Press the play/pause (   ) button to play or stop 
playback. Press the next (   ) or previous (   ) buttons respectively to 
play the next or previous track.
Note: With Wired audio sources (Aux, Opt) play/pause (   ) commands 
will function as un-mute/mute operations. Wired sources are also unable 
to respond to next (   ) and previous (   ) commands.
Source (   ): Press to scroll though the available sources. Only active 
sources will be available for selection.
Note: Network streamed and Bluetooth audio can only be selected and 
played from the Dynaudio Music app and will take priority over locally 
selected sources.
Music 5 and Music 7
Volume +/–: Press and hold the + or – buttons respectively to raise or 
lower the volume. Volume level is indicated by the indicator array on 
the top panel.
Playback (       ): Press the play/pause (   ) button to play or stop 
playback. Press the next (   ) or previous (   ) buttons respectively to 
play the next or previous track.
Note: With Wired audio sources (Aux, Opt, HDMI) play/pause (   ) 
commands will function as un-mute/mute operations. Wired sources are 
also unable to respond to next (   ) and previous (   ) commands.
Source 1 to 5: Press buttons one to ve to select favourite items 
assigned in the Dynaudio Music app to each one. Alternatively, press 
and hold buttons two, three, four and ve to select the HDMI, 
Optical, USB and Auxiliary sources (no HDMI on Music 5) respectively.
Note: If no favourites are assigned to any buttons a single press, rather 
than press and hold, will select sources.
Bluetooth ( 
): Press the Bluetooth button to connect and play a 
Bluetooth stream from a connected and active device.
