and Contraindications
Treatment Preparation
• e Patient Stop Switch should be handed to the patient and its use should be explained. Make sure the Stop Switch
can be used by the patient during the whole treatment.
• Read, understand, and practice the precautionary and operating instructions. Know the limitations and hazards
associated with using any electrical stimulation device. Observe the precautionary and operational stickers placed
on the unit.
• Before administering any treatment to a patient, you should become acquainted with the operating procedures for
each mode of treatment available, as well as the indications, contraindications, warnings, and precautions. Consult
other resources for additional information regarding the application of Traction erapy.
Warnings
• e patient must always hold the Patient Stop during treatment.
• e patient must be within sight of the practitioner at all times.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Use the SmarTRAC only in conjunction with the appropriate accessories.
• Do not connect the unit to an electrical supply without rst verifying that the power supply is the correct voltage.
Incorrect voltage may cause unit damage, malfunction, electrical shock, re, or personal injury.
• Should fray or damage to the Nylon Cord or knot occur, immediately stop use of the unit and contact qualied
technical personnel. Do not attempt to repair the cord or knot yourself.
