4) Point-to-point transparent E1 mode in “Master clock — Slave clock” structure or
“Terminal clock — Slave clock” structure
When working in the transparent E1 mode, users need to set Master clock in the converter at one
side and Slave Clock Mode in the converter at the other side. In some special occasions, it is
required to follow V.35 Terminal Clock Mode at one side and Slave Clock Mode at the other side.
Note that the E1 link can only be provided by PDH, SDH or other equipment that provides
transparent E1 channel.
