3. Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port of the Home Access network adapter, and the other end to any
available (1~8) station port on the VDSL. Every port supports 5/15/25 Mbps connections. When inserting an RJ-45
plug, be sure the tab on the plug clicks into position to ensure that it is properly seated.
● Do not plug a RJ-11 phone jack connector into the Ethernet port (RJ-45 port). This may damage the VDSL.
Instead, use only twisted-pair cables with RJ-45 connectors that conform the FCC standards.
Note:
1. Be sure each twisted-pair cable (RJ-45) is not over by 100 meters (328 feet).
2. RJ-45 VDSL port use 18 ~ 26 gauge phone wiring, 28 gauge or above is not recommended.
3. We advise using Category 5 cable for Cable Modem or router connections or to attach to any high bandwidth device to
avoid any confusion or inconvenience.
Connecting “MDI” Port (TX)
Prepare straight through shielded or unshielded twisted-pair cables with RJ-45 plugs on both ends. Use 100Ω Category
5 cable for connections. Connect one end of the cable to “9,10” port of the IP DSLAM, and the other end to a standard
RJ-45 station port on cable modem, ADSL router, wireless bridge, etc. When inserting an RJ-45 plug, be sure the tab
on the plug clicks into position to ensure that it is properly seated.
Note:
Make sure the length of the twisted-pair cable is not over by 100 meters (328 feet).
