Thank you for choosing the Dynamite brand. We
know that you, the customer are the reason we are
in business. Your satisfaction is our number one
priority. With this in mind, we have produced this
product to be of the highest quality, performance and
reliability, and at a “value-packed” price. We hope it
provides you with hours of enjoyment in your next
R/C project.
Features
Mini Tazer Brushless works with 3 phase
sensored or sensorless brushless motors.
Compact lightweight design features high power
and high efficiency output.
Auto detection of cell type and number of cells
along with automatic cut-off to prevent damage
to battery packs.
Unlike other ESC’s, power cut-off will not occur
instantly but gradually once the battery voltage
drops below 65% of its full capacity. This allows
you time to bring your vehicle to a safe stopping
location before its stops.
Reverse delay allows you to operate the brakes
by reversing throttle direction input. Once the
vehicle has slowed reverse will engage. This
feature will prevent damage to your driveline.
Thermal Overload Protection. Automatically
turns off power to the motor if the temperature of
the ESC becomes to high.

Installing Connectors
Before installation you will first need to solder a
quality plug on to the battery leads and bullet type
connectors onto the motor lead wires from your ESC.
1.) The battery leads are the larger 16 gauge black
and red wires coming from he ESC. They are
located on the same side as the switch and
receiver plug harness. We recommend using a
high quality connector such as a Deans Style or
the E-Flight EC-3 connectors (EFLAEC303). The
preferred method of wiring is to use the female
connector housing on the battery and the male
connector housing on the speed control.
2.) The motor side of the ESC has 3 smaller 18
gauge wires black, blue, red and is located on
the opposite side of the battery connectors. You
will also need to solder a bullet type connectors
onto these wires. If you motor of choice does
not provide connectors we recommend using
E-Flight 3.5mm Gold Bullet Connectors
(EFLA241). The preferred method of wiring is to
use the female bullet connectors on the speed
control and the male bullet connectors on the
motor.
Mounting the Speed Control
Mount the Mini Tazer in the location specified by
your vehicles instruction manual. Use double sided
foam tape to secure the speed control in position.
Use double sided tape to secure the switch to a
convenient location on the chassis or shock tower.
Adjusting the Transmitter
Note: Refer to the radio instructions
for specific information on transmitter
set-up.
1.) Set the throttle reversing switch to the NORMAL
position (This may need to be reversed on some
brands of radios).
2.) If you transmitter has an adjustable trigger (or
stick) position, move it to the 50/50 position.
3.) Set the “throttle trim” to the center position.
4.) Set the “throttle exponential” to MINIMUM or
ZERO.
5.) Set the “ATV” to 100%.
Operating Instructions
1.) Connect the three wires from the ESC to the
motor.
2.) Insert the receiver plug into the throttle channel
of your receiver.
3.) Before plugging the battery into the ESC, make
sure your transmitter is on and the throttle is in
the neutral position.
4.) Plug the battery in and move the ESC power
switch to the on position.
5.) The ESC will sound 3 beeps. Indicating it is
programmed and ready for action.
6.) Adjust the throttle trim slightly to find the best
throttle neutral position. This noted by 2 beeps.
7.) Next check that the ESC throttle functions match
the transmitter input. Lift the car off the ground,
pull back the throttle trigger then push forward
and hold. If the wheels stop rotating then your
ESC and Transmitter are matched correctly. If the
wheels continue to rotate change the position of
throttle trim switch on the transmitter.
8.) Next check the motor for proper rotation. Slowly
pull back on the throttle if the vehicle moves
forward it is correct. If the vehicle moves in
reverse simply change any two of the motor wire
connections.
Note: Do not reverse the battery wire
connection. Reversing the battery
polarity will permanently damage
the ESC.
