FEATURES
Suitable for use with 2S Li-Po or Li-Ion receiver packs.•
WARNING: Never overcharge a battery beyond the listed
capacity on the battery label. Overcharging can result in
fire, property damage and personal injury.
Adjustable low-voltage protection circuitry prevents battery •
damage due to over-discharge.
Unique 3-minute, 3.7V, low-power function warns user that •
receiver pack voltage is reaching low-voltage cutoff.
Output preset at 6V.•
SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect regulator to receiver battery pack. We recommend
installing the regulator between the switch and the receiver.
If you install the regulator between the receiver battery and
the switch, it will be powered at all times if not unplugged.
Leaving the regulator powered for extended periods can over
discharge and damage the receiver pack.
2. When the regulator is powered the LED will flash “green” on
for .1 sec. and off for .9 sec. This is the safe operating mode
that verifies the receiver pack is sufficiently charged.
3. To enter the setup mode, press and hold the “set” button.
The LED will turn off and after another 2 seconds will come
back on. Release the “set” button. You have now successfully
entered the “setup mode”.
4. By pressing the “set” button you can now choose between
3 different “Low Voltage” cutoff modes. Following is a
description of each and the LED color that designates them.
A. Solid red LED: Low voltage protection disabled
B. Flashing red LED: Low voltage cutoff set to 5.5V for
use with high torque digital servos.
C. Flashing red/green LEDs: Low voltage cutoff set to
6V for use with standard servos.
5. After 10 seconds without pressing the set button the
regulator will leave setup mode and enter “Operation Mode”
automatically saving the last setup mode.
CAUTION: Check your radio manufacturer’s
recommended input voltages for receiver and servo input
voltage in order to prevent damage to components.
OPERATION MODE LED FUNCTIONS
1. Flashing green LED: Normal safe operating mode that
verifies the receiver pack is sufficiently charged.
2. Solid red/green LED: Input voltage too high. Verify you are
using a 2S Li-Po or Li-Ion receiver pack.
3. Flashing red/green LED: Output power is not normal,
possible regulator damage.
4. Flashing red LED: Receiver pack has reached the low
voltage setting (after a 3-minute 3.7V low output
power warning).
